Directed by Steve Zuckerman (Nuts, "Murphy Brown") the three-member cast features Dan Lauria ("The Wonder Years," Lombardi) as Simon Grindberg, with Rupak Ginn (Shakespeare at Fenway, "Royal Pains") as Peter Chandler, and Carolyn McCormick (Equus, "Law & Order") as Clair Forlorni.

Broadway alum and TV veteran Dan Lauria (A Christmas Story, The Wonder Years) will star in the off-Broadway premiere of The Stone Witch, a new play by Shem Bitterman (A Death in Colombia), set to play The Westside Theatre. Steve Zuckerman (Nuts) will direct the play, scheduled to begin previews on March 12 with an opening set for March 25. Rupak Ginn (Shakespeare at Fenway) and Carolyn McCormick (Equus) will also star.

In The Stone Witch, a famed children’s book writer and illustrator, played by Lauria, is long overdue to release his next masterpiece. In an attempt to reignite his creativity, an ambitious editor (McCormick) pairs the veteran with a talented young writer (Ginn). The show will officially open March 25.
